I arrived in San Francisco in 1997 to study film and photography at Academy of Art University. Since then, I have pursued a constant stream of work in filmmaking—producing, directing, shooting, and editing. Having contributed to numerous diverse productions, including award-winning short/comedy/horror films, Saturday morning kids’ cartoons, video marketing packages, independent music videos, public service announcements for the city of San Francisco, and feature-length narrative and documentary films. I have worked as a freelance cameraman for HGTV’s Landscape Smart series, and as a producer, cameraman, and editor for the Water Channel’s Pulling In, a TV series about surfing.
Chris brings an artist's eye to the edit suite. He is also an accomplished shooter with a penchant for the hand held. He has worked for Scholastic Inc, Virgin Sound and Vision, Stanford University, Apple, HBO and many others.

We use the latest in Indie gear to produce film-like productions. We recently bought the Canon C300 based on reveiws like this.
Our first shoot with the C300 5D Mk III. The footage speaks for itself.
For running and gunning - we have a set of Sony EX 1s. Stripped down they are a perfect package for one camera operator or two.
We started out with the Letus Extreme adaptors - here is a good site showing the benefits over small sensor video cameras. We shot Tour Widows on this setup.
Scotty McLennan's interview for his book release Jesus was a Liberal was shot on a pair of Sony EX1s with Letus adaptors, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM and 24-70 F2.8L.
Fortunately the industry has been good to us with cameras like the C300 and 5D - we get great shots without having to trick up the Sonys. Our work for the C100 48 hours was shot primarily on a Canon 5D Mk II with 70-200 IS 2.8L.
